As great as the idea was, I just didn't feel it playing through it. In fact, upon completing it, I went back and played the original. As great as it was to see some of the old stuff still follow through ("My toes, my toes!"), it was kinda lame to lose out on some of it (the Shredder Boss when you have to throw enemies at the screen). Also, the fact that you could attack in four directions, while realistic and expected, lost some of the glory of killing a dozen guys at once when suddenly I was attacking into the screen. All in all, a good play, and good fun, but not as good as I'd hoped.
